Never has buying a home been such an easy, exciting and lovely experience as with buying from the Harbor, we owe this all to the wonderful Sales team led by Ken Whitten. Ken has continued to make sure we are taken care in every way, he has been a joy to work with.
The Harbor staff takes very good care of the residents, everyone is eager to get to know you and your family. The level of service from the Concierge (Brittany) to Maintenance Manager (Fernando) is comparable to what you would receive from a 5 star hotel.
I encourage anyone who is looking for a place to make fond memerories with your family to look into purchasing at the Harbor.

Dear Harbor Neighbors or Visitors,

It is not often that I take the time to write about exceptional people and exceptional places but…this time is different.
We were introduced to Ken Whitten many years ago when our friends built a house in The Ranch. Ken was funny, honest, and even made us feel special even though we could not afford a ranch sign at the time, much less a home and Ken knew it! When we came to visit our friends Ken and everyone we came in contact with went above and beyond to make us feel special.
As the years rolled along Ken stayed in touch and one day told us that we should come and visit his new development..The Harbor. When we arrived we were greeted by him and the red carpet was rolled out. We had rooms at The Inn, a golf cart to use, and then we began to meet the rest of the team. Though, a funny thing had happened since we last met…I had been given a real good dose of Leukemia and had to be attached to an IV Pole most of the time. I asked Ken if it would be a problem to eat at The Grill for dinner while getting my meds and emphatically he said H-ll no! So, I drove up to the front door in my cart and the girls and I rolled in feeling kind of awkward to say the least, but very quickly the staff seated us and made us feel like a million. Nothing much has changed since that evening with just a few exceptions. We now stay in our very OWN beautiful condo, I no longer have to roll an IV poll around with me, and we are about to introduce our first granddaughter that I was not supposed to be around to see! Something about the peace and tranquility at the lake does a body good!
My thoughts and memories are all the same from the moment I sat down with Dan to discuss building options to COUNTLESS visits and phone calls with Ken, Larry and MaryAnn trying to decide between a cabin, condo, or carriage house to make our dream home a reality. Also, the genuine excitement from Caitlin and all the girls at The Grille to see us brings a smile to my face every time. They even surprised my daughter with a baby gift. All the guys I met who eagerly helped me work on The Chapel were wonderful too. They could all tell pretty quickly that it had been a long time since construction days and each of them made me feel very special! If I ever need ANYTHING I know I can call Brittany. I could go on and on but in summary….The Harbor is not a “place”…it’s a community full of great people that soon become family. They check in with me if I haven’t been down in awhile to make sure every thing’s ok. It’s a little bit of heaven as far as I am concerned. If you are considering another place or straddling the fence…STOP! I own land across the street and checked out everywhere else too, literally. If you want to join a fraternity/sorority of new friends and receive world class service then do it now. You will be amazed that the closer you get to The Harbor the larger your smile becomes and you start to drive faster in anticipation (I have a little piece of paper to prove that) of your arrival to a place like no other! Come join us and if you see someone riding around in his pajamas with a big hat on during the day or night…that’s me. I would love to shake your hand and introduce you to all of my friends. I forget a lot of their names due to chemo brain or just old age but they still love me.

Best Regards,

My wife and I first visited PK Lake in August 2007. We were looking for a residential community where we could boat, play golf and my wife ride her horse. We were introduced to the Harbor team and an exciting adventure began. We purchased a two bedroom condo in the 12 unit Century Oaks Building. Before the building was under construction we decided to buy the adjoining two bedroom condo and turn them both into one four bedroom unit. We gave the design team our criteria and they gave us a floor plan. We made some revisions and were on our way. As exciting as the process was , even more exciting was getting to know the Harbor team. As in every business , it”s all about the people. Every one from the sales staff, design team, construction staff and grill staff has a “can do attitude”. They turned all our wishes into reality. Most everyone wants to be around people with a positive attitude. It is that attitude along with a superb design and exquisite aminities that will protect our investment for the future.

Our purchase at The Harbor was the culmination of a three year search for the lake house property of our dreams. The natural beauty and serenity of the area, along with the innovative vision of the developers for a unique community was the perfect combination.Since we made our decision just over a year ago, our expectations have been exceeded at every turn. From an outstanding sales group that stayed involved throughout the process, to the highly creative and competent team at Clearview Construction, we have experienced a collaborative spirit and service orientation that supported our desire to customize key elements of our home. The entire Harbor family has taken a genuine interest in welcoming us to their community. My wife and I truly feel that we are on the ground floor of something very special at the Harbor.

We love our place at the Harbor. It was well worth the wait.A typical Summer day for us is morning fishing, skiing, swimming and exploring the lake. We have lunch somewhere on the lake, then in for a nap and back to boating. We always try to get back to the Harbor in time to feed the deer. Then something off the grill for dinner while we watch the sun set. In the Fall we switch to hiking and biking on and off of the trails. Every turn is a different view, with the lake always somewhere in sight. It’s an awesome place to come unwind after the busy week.We have one regret about buying a place at the Harbor. We can’t be there more!

We were familiar with and had a great deal of respect for the job the developer, Craig Walker, had done with another Possum Kingdom property. We had confidence that he would be able to deliver his vision of the Harbor, as a multi-purpose family retreat. To us the Harbor represents the best all around value in the PK market. We love the ability to enjoy the diversity of amenities offered within the convenient confines of the Harbor. The feel of our rustic ranch house, the great food of The Grille, the friendly family pool, marina, and equestrian center are all within range of a short walk or golf cart ride.

From the moment we drove through the gate it felt like home.  We feel like it’s a cabin in the woods and a lake house all in one.  It is a great place to enjoy family, rest, and make even more memories; a grandparent’s dream . . . my daughter-in-law said, ‘my kids will want to spend the entire summer there!’  I can’t complain about that!  The selling/buying process was easy and fun.  The Grille’s food is great and all the amenities are first class!
